About Me
My name is Chelsey Boehnke. I am a visual arts educator, illustrator, and designer with a background in architecture and applied visual arts. I hold a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon with a minor in Art focused on fine art printmaking and graphic design, as well as a Master’s degree in Education from Portland State University.
My professional experience in architecture, illustration, and design continues to shape my work as an educator. I approach both teaching and creative practice through design thinking, integrating applied 2D and 3D visual arts, experimentation, and creative problem-solving.
I’m currently working on an anthology of replicas of Horace Grant’s rec specs, forever honing and improving my half-court shot in the hopes of, obviously, a Honda Accord, but ultimately to impress my two rotten daughters.
